Fraser – Dr. Norman Lowe

Dr. Norman Lowe Fraser, 88, of North Gower, passed away peacefully surrounded by love on December 26, 2021.
Norman was born on December 24, 1933, to Maynard and Bertha Fraser of North Gower, ON. He spent his childhood in Sudbury with his brothers Ivan and Harold. After graduating from Huron College of the University of Western Ontario in London. Norman went on to study medicine at the University of Toronto where he met his future wife Yvonne from Sarnia, ON.
He became a (GP) general practitioner and worked out of The East General Hospital in Toronto. He subsequently became the Zone Director of Moose Factory General Hospital for 3 years. He then moved back to North Gower to work as the Assistant Regional Director of Health and Welfare, directing the care of the First Nations People of Ontario. After retiring, Norman devoted his time cultivating his art and enjoying his large family.
Dr. Fraser was predeceased by his parents Maynard and Bertha and his brother Ivan. He is survived by his wife Yvonne; his children Anne, David, Jennifer (Steven), Rebecca (Will), Heather (Brian) and Norman (Corry). He will be dearly missed by his grandchildren, Scott, Fraser, Erin, Emma, Kathryn, Katie, Anna, Brendan, Patrick, Charlotte, Connor, Jodi, Mackenzie, Logan, and Joffre; and his brother Harold (Joanne).
Funeral service will be held at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, North Gower on Sunday, January 2nd at 2 p.m. Interment Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Bearbrook, in the spring.
