Witold Majewski
March 25, 1950-April 21, 2020

The family mourns the sudden passing of beloved husband, father, brother and grandfather, Witold (Witek) Majewski. He left this world quickly and painlessly, as he would have wanted.

A consummate innovator, he held 7 patents in Canada for a variety of polymer products. A leader in the Polish chemical engineering field, he was founder and current technical director of Premix Sp. Z.o.o (Polaniec, Poland) -- a leader in the area of remediation of concrete corrosion and production of specialty cement products.

An avid explorer, Witek knew how to enjoy life. He attacked all his many pursuits with single-minded passion and enthusiasm: from fishing to gardening, to cheese-making and smoking his own meat products. He was never afraid to take a risk, and jump right into deep water. It was not always a success, but he was never discouraged. If something did not work, he would repeat after Zorba the Greek: "what a spectacular disaster." He had more plans for big adventures and creative ideas than time to do them all.

An active grandfather, Witek had recently met the love of his life: his granddaughter, Natalia, and was overjoyed to celebrate the recent birth of her sister, Maia. He looked forward to teaching them to fish and to love nature as he did.

Witold leaves behind his wife of 46 years, Zuzanna Majewska; his son Jakub (Marika); his two granddaughters, Natalia and Maia; his daughter Katarzyna Majewska (Alexandre); his beloved brother Marek (Joanna); his nephew, Marek and niece, Kasia and countless family, friends and colleagues in Canada, Poland and the UK. There will always be a huge empty space in our hearts, as he leaves for his last great adventure.

In lieu of flowers, please join us in celebrating Witek's love of nature through a donation to The Nature Conservancy of Canada or the Australia Wildfires Relief Fund.
