Dr. Ian C. & Mrs. Katherine A. Wilson

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ian C. Wilson on November 29, 2013 at age 90, and the death of Katherine A. Wilson (nee McColm) on January 9, 2013 at age 78. Both were surrounded by loving family at the Queensway Carleton Hospital. They are survived by their four children and two grandchildren. Ian was a skilled General Surgeon in Cobourg, Ontario, for many years, loving father, enthusiastic apiarist, and active in the community. Katherine was a loving mother, talented artist, house designer, avid outdoors woman and gardener. They were both active in politics and the local school board. A private memorial will be held at a future date. In accordance with Dr. Wilson's wishes, his remains have been donated to Medical Science. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Queensway Carleton Hospital would be appreciated.
