Our dear Bill passed away in the early hours of October 10th, 2022, surrounded by those he loved and who loved him. Bill’s struggle with MS and the limitations it imposed on him has ended and he can soar to new adventures. Janet, his wife of 39 years and their son Adam and daughter-in-law Sasha and their dog Wali will miss his love, his wit and his pearls of wisdom and insight more than can be imagined.

Bill’s family and extended family brought him great joy. Bill lived his life with no complaint and his family always made sure to support him in living his best life with purpose. Beloved son of the late Beth and Keith Morris.

Susan and Brent Olson, Anne and George Hamor, John and Lorraine Morris and Ruth and Peter Bengough, his siblings and their spouses, meant everything to him and he greatly appreciated their love and constant support.

Bill’s ‘outlaws’,Bill and Linda Lumsden, Cathy Lumsden and Scott Lumsden were family to him. He was eternally grateful for their love and kindness.

Bill’s nieces and nephews were a great pleasure to him. He loved hearing about their successes and their adventures. Alex Hamor and his wife Suhaila and their son Dean, David and Michael Olson, Aidan Morris, Megan and Cameron Bengough, Nathalie and Jenna Boulet, and Jeremy Lumsden kept him young!

Melaku, Kidist, Christine and Issac’s dedication, flexibility, friendship and support in providing Bill’s care helped him live at home and we are so very thankful.

Bill will be deeply mourned and missed but we know he is at rest and probably going for a walk, now that he can fly.

Visitation to be held on Friday October 14, 2022, at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road (between Baseline and Bayshore) from 3pm – 5pm and 7pm – 9pm. Funeral Service to take place in the chapel on Sunday October 16th, 2022, at 3pm. Reception to follow.

In lieu of flowers donations to Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada or Adaptive Sports Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
