Peacefully at Elisabeth Bruyere Continuing Care on Thursday, February 11, 2021. Predeceased by his beloved wife Helen and his son Ian. Survived by his sons David (Georgia), Bruce (Josée), his daughter-in-law Kelly, and grandchildren Philippe, Jocelyn, Stéphane and Faith. Allan, a retired biologist from the federal government was a longtime volunteer with the Boy Scouts of Canada, enjoyed time spent at the cottage as well as travelling abroad and more recently took pleasure from spending time with his coffee club.  A service in his memory is being planned for the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimer Society of Ottawa, The Ottawa Hospital Foundation or United Way East Ontario.
