William Canning

It is with profound sadness that we say goodbye to our much-loved brother Bill G. Canning.

Bill passed away peacefully at home at the age of 64 on July 29, 2018. He was surrounded by his loving family. Bill was predeceased by his parents Reginald and Helen Canning (nee McLean). Bill is survived by his devoted sisters, Joanne Canning and Cheryl Canning (David Spence); and his beloved nephews, Trevor Spence and Brandon Spence.

Friends and family are invited to share their memories of Bill and celebrate his life at a BBQ (Bill's favourite) on Saturday, September 8, 2018 between 11:30 to 3:00 p.m. at the Carleton Heights Community Centre, 1665 Apeldoorn Avenue, Ottawa. (Casual dress.)

For those who wish, in memory of Bill, a donation to the Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated by the family.

Sincere and heartfelt thanks to Dr. Kwan-Leung Chan, of the Ottawa Heart Institute, for his wonderful care of Bill, for the past twenty-one years.
