Wayne Miles

Wayne passed away peacefully at his home in Manotick at age 81. Born in 1943 in Ottawa to Kenneth and Genevieve (Johnston) and raised in London, Ontario, Wayne attended Carleton University and had a 35-year career in the federal public service. Will be missed by his partner of 53 years, Richard Lester, Richard’s extended family, and dear friend Lynda Morrissey. Survived by cousin Barbara Campbell of West Lorne, Ontario, Wayne enjoyed his garden, classical music, and the companionship of his Corgis. There will be no visitation, but a memorial service and interment will take place later this year at Highland Park Cemetery. Remembrances can be made through contributions to the Ontario Veterinary College (Guelph) in Wayne’s memory.
