Viola Martin

Viola Grace Martin passed away peacefully on December 6th, 2024 at the Medex Nursing Home in Ottawa. Viola was born April 26,1938. She lived in Westboro most of her life.

Dear Daughter of the late Ben and Dorothy Bradley of Westboro. Sister of predeceased brothers Wallace (Jean), Gordon (Betty), Russell (Mickey) and Orval (Shirley). Also predeceased by sisters Dorothy Heaslip (Robert), Marjorie Ranger (Merv), and Evelyn Lake (Keith). Survived by sister Barbara Allan (David). Viola is also survived by her two sons Stephen Martin (Deborah) and Glenn Martin, her granddaughter Erica (Lance), her grandson Jeffrey, and her great grandson, baby Oakley.

Viola is a graduate of the Ottawa Civic Hospital Nursing Assistants’ Program. She loved music, and could be found many a Sunday singing in her Anglican church choir. Her Christian Faith was a source of strength and guidance. 

You were so loved Viola. May you rest in Peace now. Sincere gratitude to all the staff at Medex for your constant loving care. 

Viola's funeral will take place at Tubman's Funeral Home, Westboro Chapel on Saturday December 14th. Wake starting at 11am, service to begin at 1pm. Reception to follow. Internment will be at Capital Memorial Gardens. A donation in Viola's Memory to CHEO would be appreciated.
