It is with a profound sense of sadness that I announce the passing of my oldest brother, Vincent at the age of 69 years. Vincent Paul ROBINSON, (Vince) was born in Brockville to Kingsley (MWO. RCAF) and Winifred Robinson on March 18, 1952. Vince grew up on Madison Ave. in Westboro with his brothers, Dave (Elaine-Christine & Wayne), Jeff (Sharron-Travis, Norma Jean, Sam), and Phil (Trish- Jen, Kingsley, Marshal).
Vince attended Churchill Public School, Broadview and Champlain High School. A man of hidden talents which included being an avid trumpet player, shooter, reader and author of poetry. He was fluent in both official languages, French and English, and he spoke to his friends in each language with ease.
After a brief stint in the late 70’s, he realized marriage was not his cup of tea. Vince was employed within the motorcycle and automotive parts industry having worked at Foster and Byles, mostly NAPA/UAP, lastly with Altrom and ultimately retired in August of 2020.
Vince, was active in the paintball industry up into his 50’s. He enjoyed his alone time, spending it learning the intricacies of whatever hobby he picked up. His current passion/obsession included flying drones with his brother, or in solitude. Vince, enjoyed his “Me” time and lived the life he wanted. He remained up-to-date in current events, politics and remained current with technology. He always handpicked the gifts for his nieces and nephews, knowing their individual interests and talents, often unbeknownst to them.
His sudden departure is a great loss to his family and friends. Vincent will be welcomed to the arms of his beloved friend Julie (predeceased), parents, family and friends.
