Trevor will be fondly remembered by everyone as a one-of-a-kind man with a heart of gold and a Jack of all trades who was not afraid to try his hand at anything, but his specialty was Mathematics and Trivia. He even tried out for Jeopardy but never got the callback.
After Marlin and Trevor were married a few years, Trevor attended night classes at Carleton University and obtained his Registered Industrial Accounting degree. Trevor spent his life working as a Certified General Accountant doing personal & small business income tax for 50 years, loving every minute of his work acquiring many lifelong friends. Trevor retired in 2000 at the age of 64 from Statistics Canada.
As lovers of country music, Trev and Marnie were members of Barrhaven Senior Fiddlers Dance Association for 35 years.
Marlin and Trevor’s love of travel included numerous vacations with family and friends, the most memorable being a Caribbean cruise, 5 weeks in Europe, 3 weeks touring the Hawaiian Islands and travelling with son Gerald & Family in a motorhome through Bryce Canyon, to Yellowstone Park in Utah, and a month long holiday touring Alaska, that they considered a trip of a lifetime that included traveling the top of the World Highway, Arctic Circle, Dawson and many conservations that they always hoped to visit again.
The Family would like to thank all those that provided food, support and prayers. Special thanks to Dr. Amjadi at T.O.H, and Dr. Brien Whalen for the compassionate care over the years.
Thanks also to his dear sister-in-law Lois Rump and special friend Carmel Cyr for the many times they helped Trev through his illness.
