With profound sadness we wish to announce the passing of a precious son and brother, Wayne in his 66th year while surrounded by his family and friends. Predeceased by his father Eugene. Wayne leaves behind his loving mother Peggy, sisters Sharyn Moore (John), Wendy Grecco (Frank), brother Bryan (Nina), many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, special and caring family friend David Smith of Victoria, B.C. who all loved Wayne dearly. Special thanks to caregiver Lauren Ayotte, the compassionate staff on A3 at the Queensway Carleton Hospital, and the support of the Lee family. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road (between Bayshore and Baseline Road) on Wednesday from 1-3 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. A Celebration of Wayne's life will be held in the Chapel on Thursday at 11 a.m. Donations to the Hospice at Maycourt or the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation would be appreciated.
