Thelma Montgomery (nee Tysick) passed after a brief illness on Sunday, December 5th, 2021 in her 95th year. Born on January 15, 1926 to parents Robert and Emma Tysick.  Predeceased by her loving husband, Ian Montgomery. She was the loving mother of Dale Marie (Greg), Brian (Catalina) and the late Gordon. Proud grandmother of Andrea (Andrew), Tracey, Jonathan, Jordan and Michelina. Delighted great grandmother to newborn twins Daxton and Charlotte. Dear sister of the late Merway Perkins (Earl) and the late Alice Dopson (Willard), and the late Betty Lewis (Lloyd) and sister-in-law to Donna Wood and the Late Marriam Rees (Glyn). Also fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Thelma was a strong woman, who will be remembered for her big heart and generosity to those around her.

Visitation to be held at the Tubman Funeral Homes – Garden Chapel, 3440 Richmond Road on Friday, December 10th , 2021 from 9 am to 10 am. Funeral service to take place in the chapel at 10 am. Reception to follow. Burial will be held at Capital Memorial Gardens.
