Sophia Ramarr

Wife of 63 years to Karol, mother and best friend of Carolyn (Rick Shelley), and proud and loving grandmother of Ben. Sophia was born in Rouyn-Noranda, in Northwestern Quebec, to Ukrainian parents. She and Karol moved to Ottawa only later in life, in 1996, to be closer to their family. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th at St.John's Anglican Church, 325 Sandhill Road, Kanata from 10 - 11 a.m, funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. Interment at St. Paul's Anglican Church Cemetery, 1118 Thomas Dolan Parkway (at the corner of Dunrobin Rd.), Dunrobin. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Sophia's memory to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
