Passed away peacefully at Granite Ridge Specialty Care, Stittsville, Ontario on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. Shirley leaves behind her children Darlene Bradley (Wayne), Donna Lynn Eastman (Dwight), Dale (Laurie), Danny (Vickie), her sister Eleanor Thompson, 11 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband John, infant son Wayne and great-granddaughter Ashley. Also survived by brothers and sister-in-laws Edith Brez, Percy and Geogina Hanna, John and Edna Mains, John Boyd (Gloria). Friends may visit at the Carp Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes 115 Rivington Street, Carp on Friday, December 20th from 1 to 3 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. Thomas Anglican Church, Woodlawn on Saturday, December 21, at 11 a.m. followed by interment at Lowry Cemetery. In memory of Shirley, charitable contributions may be made to Lowry Cemetery, St. Thomas Anglican Church or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
