Garden Chapel

It is with great sorrow that we share with you the passing of Sharon Mary Nolan (nee Muldoon). She was a very important person to many and will be greatly missed. Her impact on others has always been evident; over the last few weeks, we have been deeply moved by the outpouring of condolences people have given.

She grew up on a farm in Dunrobin, Ontario, always referring to her childhood as “perfect”. Her parents, Dennis and Kathleen Muldoon, raised six children that grew up to be each other’s best friends. Barbara Gibeau (Norm Gibeau), Gwen Baldwin (Andy Baldwin), Shirley Lavergne (Johnny Lavergne), Mary Muldoon (Ray Sally) and her brother, Richard Muldoon (Pauline Muldoon) have many amazing memories of her.

Next to God, Sharon’s greatest love is for her husband of 38 years, Timothy Richard Nolan. With decades of love & laughter, they inspired many of us. Devoted to each other, their love was demonstrated in countless ways. During Sharon’s battle with lung cancer, Tim never left her side.  He remained her biggest cheerleader and will forever miss “His Sharon”.

Survived by her two loving daughters; Kim Leblanc (Marc Leblanc) and Keri Miller (Jon Miller) and three sons; Todd Nolan, Danny Nolan (Lorraine Nolan) and Mike Nolan (Jacinthe Nolan), Sharon, leaves behind children that feel blessed to call her “mom”. Her laughter, her humor and spitfire personality will be treasured.

Few people are more talkative about children than proud grandparents. Sharon was particularly proud of her eight!  She enriched her grandchildren’s lives and will live on in their hearts. Matt (Kim Leblanc), Mikaela and Aidan (Keri Miller), Amanda, Eric and Renee (Danny Nolan) and Liam and Jacob (Mike Nolan) will miss her constant support and unconditional love. Sharon felt very fortunate to be a first time great grandparent to Ella (Amanda Nolan) and was so excited to meet her.

Sharon leaves behind many heartbroken people that have witnessed her incredible attitude. Please honor her memory by living each day to the fullest and being kind to one another.
