Sharon Allen

(March 31, 1943 – June 16, 2022)

Sharon Peggy Allen, age 79, of Ottawa, passed away unexpectedly on June 16, 2022 peacefully in her sleep.  She was predeceased by her father, Edward “Eddy” Logan, her mother Maybelle and brother Gary, and left behind by her loving husband James “Jimmy” Allen (renowned Ottawa Firefighter), children Gary (Tara), Mark (Michelle) and Colleen (Sue) and her grandchildren Colin, James, Shawn and Samantha.  Sharon was a renowned crafter in the region. She was loved by so many and will be missed terribly.  The family sends special thanks to the caring and attentive staff at Russell Meadows Retirement Community.  If you would like to pay your respects, you are welcome to attend the memorial reception we are holding in her honor at Tubman Funeral Homes - Nepean, 3440 Richmond Rd on June 23, 2022 between 1 and 4pm.  In lieu of flowers, we encourage you to donate to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada (https://alzheimer.ca).
