Sandra Smith

Sandra Elaine Smith passed away peacefully in her 79th year on Monday, December 20 after a brief illness. Born on January 18, 1942 to parents Eli and Bertha George. Sandy will be greatly missed by her loving husband of 59 years, Richard,  her children Tricia (Greg McCurdie) and Dave (Linda), her grandchildren Carter and Cailey, and her sisters Donna (late Gary Baird) and Gladys (late Bill Fisher). Predeceased by her oldest son Jim and her brother Ken George. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service at Bellevue Cemetery, 1030 Chemin d'Aylmer, Quebec. on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at 10 a.m. and/or a celebration of life at Tubman Funeral Homes Garden Chapel, 3440 Richmond Rd, Ottawa from noon - 2 p.m.. Special thanks to the nurses and staff at the Ottawa Hospital Civic Campus for their amazing care and support for Sandy and our family. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Ottawa Hospital Foundation .
