Sandra Ann Byrne 

Peacefully in hospital, Sandra Ann Byrne, born August 12, 1947, passed on November 21, 2023, at the age of 76. Predeceased by her parents Loretta Sanders (Nee Gregoire), Gordon O’Connell, and stepfather Ralph Sanders. 

Survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Glen Byrne, and children: Daryl (Danielle), Jason, and Brenda Howes (Rod) and her grandchildren: Landon and Amelia. Sandy will also be missed by Ruby, her adoring four-legged companion. 

Sandra leaves behind her sister-in-law Elaine Kealey (late Garry Kealey), her brother in-law Wayne (Gwen) Byrne, and many loving cousins, nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by her McLarens Landing “family” since 1972. 

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the medical team and staff at the Arnprior Regional Hospital for their kind care during her stay.  

A Celebration of life will be held at the Carp Agricultural Centre on Thursday December 7, 2023, from 1p.m. to 4p.m. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Arnprior Humane Society, Arnprior Reginal Hospital, or to the Canadian Cancer Society
