Roy Mallett

Passed away peacefully at The Redwoods Retirement Residence on Friday, February 18, 2022.  Predeceased by his beloved wife Mildred (nee Dawson).  Loving father of Rick (Carol), Beverley and Joan.  Proud grandfather of Christiane and Sylvie Whalen (Adam) and great grandfather of Jensen and Emilia.  Survived by his sister-in-law Marjorie (the late Joe Granger).  Predeceased by his siblings Frank (Evelyn/May), George (Lola/Colleen), Elsie (Alvin) and his in-laws Isobel Deacon (Eddie), Walton Dawson (Olive), Bob Dawson (Olive) and Merna Hemphill (Alan).  Roy will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, and extended family.  The family wishes to thank Dr. Lalonde and the staff at The Redwoods Retirement Residence for their continuous care and support.  They would also like to thank Roy’s former neighbours on Hamilton Ave.  A graveside service will be held at Capital Memorial Gardens Cemetery on Thursday, February 24, 2022, at 2 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
