After a courageous battle with cancer on May 11, 2014 at the age of 59. Beloved husband of Carmel (Kelly). Loving brother of Roy and Robert (Cathy). Cherished uncle of Kaitlin (Kyle). Predeceased by his great niece Sydney Lynne Janes. Also survived by many cousins and extended family. Friends may call at the Westboro Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Road (at Roosevelt) on Sunday, May 18 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 pm, and Monday, May 19 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick's Basilica, 281 Nepean Street (at Kent) on Tuesday at 1:30 pm, followed by burial at St. Georges Cemetery, Hawthorne. Special thanks to Father Roman. In lieu of flowers a donation to St. Patrick's Basilica or to B.A.R.K (Bytown Association for Rescued Kanines) would be appreciated.
