Garden Chapel

We are devastated to announce the sudden passing of Ron on August 31, 2022 at the young age of 59. Cherished husband and best friend of Sandra (nee Silvaroli), devoted and adored father of Jacob and Samantha.

Ron was predeceased by his dear mother Annagale.  He will be lovingly remembered by his father Paul, and siblings Paula Labelle (Michael), Sheri Kane, Don Blair, and Tammy Chevarie (Alibe).  He was the dear son-in-law of Antonio and Ilda Silvaroli, and brother-in-law of Angela Silvaroli (Michel Prudhomme), Teresa Muccitto (Tony), Anthony Silvaroli and Erin Silvaroli.  He will be sadly missed by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Ron was born in Kingston, Ontario and attended Regiopolis Notre Dame High School. He was a proud member of Fort Henry Guard, and loved sports, especially football. He was awarded a football scholarship to St. Francis Xavier University, where he pursued a business degree while displaying his athletic talents. He excelled at both academics and athletics, earning many awards over the years. After graduation, he began his career at Clarkson Gordon (Ernst & Young), where he met his beloved Sandra. He went on to obtain his CPA (CA) designation, his Trustee in Bankruptcy License, and to establish a successful career as a CFO/consultant for several Ottawa technology companies.

Ron was a caring, generous, brilliant, hard-working and honest man, with a quick wit, and a kind soul.  He loved music, history, coins, antiques, war movies and westerns, and was a wealth of knowledge on virtually any topic.  He enjoyed nature, and walks or runs around Bruce Pit were part of his daily routine. Above all else, he was a family man - an amazing husband, father, son, and brother, whose utmost concern was the well-being of his loved ones, near and far. His children, Jacob and Samantha, were his pride and joy, and his legacy will live on through them.

We were truly blessed to have had Ron in our lives, and he will be so profoundly missed. Forever in our hearts, Sweetheart, until we meet again…..
