Ronald Irving

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ronald C. Irving in his 84th year, at Granite Ridge Care Community in Stittsville, Ontario on March 24, 2025. Loving husband to Valerie. Loving Dad of Michelle (Philip Devonald) and Chris (Michelle Melvin). Beloved Grandfather of Bailey and Emma. Friend and Brother-in-Law of Leslie Jones. He was predeceased by his loving parents (May and George), and his brother Stephen.

Born in Manchester, England, Ron met Valerie, and they married in 1967. Ron had a successful career managing numerous retail stores (both in England and Canada) where he was loved and respected by all.

Dad, you were optimistic, positive, fun and you loved your family immensely. You made us laugh, made us smile, and were someone we could always depend on. You will be missed and cherished in our hearts forever. Sweet dreams.

The family wishes to thank all his caregivers and the staff at Granite Ridge Care Community (both in Garden and Orchard Houses) for their love and support during his time there.
