In Loving Memory of Roberta Fay Hanna
Roberta Fay Hanna, born on November 14, 1945, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2024, at the Queensway Carleton Hospital in Ottawa, surrounded by her loving family. Loving wife of the late William Andrew Hanna. Mother of Tim Hanna and his wife Melissa. She is survived by her her cherished grandsons Declan and Finn.
Roberta is also survived by her beloved brother Randy Roy, niece Ryan Roy, nephew Colin Roy and his wife Claire and son Austin, cousin Debbie Laflamme, and aunt Gloria Laflamme. Predeceased by her mother and father Fay and Bill Roy.
Roberta had a special place in her heart for Blue Sea Lake, where she spent many joyful summers at the family cottage. She loved the tranquility of the lake, the beauty of the surrounding nature, and the time spent with family and friends. These memories were some of her most cherished and brought her immense happiness.
Roberta was a devout member of Woodvale Pentecostal Church, where she found comfort, community, and spiritual guidance. She cherished her time spent there and formed many meaningful relationships with fellow parishioners. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Pastor Mark Scar and the members and clergy of Woodvale Pentecostal Church for their support, prayers, and kindness during this difficult time.
A private family service will be held to honor Roberta's life. Roberta will be dearly missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace.
