With sadness, but with a sense of relief, Bob passed away in hospital on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 in his 77^th year. Beloved husband of 53 years to Harriet nee Prime. Loving father of Andrea (Jason) Tunks and Cara (Jeff) Scott. Proud grandpa and bompa to Avery, Quinn and Korbin. Predeceased by parents Gerald & Dorothy Townend. Dear brother of Joy (Bob) Christie and the late Carl (Katherine) Townend. Fondly remembered by a niece, several nephews and by his sister-in-law Dorothy (Bob) Giles. 

Family and friends may pay respects at Zion-Memorial Church, 37 Franklin Street, Carleton Place on Friday, April 12, 2024 from 11 am until time of Memorial Service at 1 p.m. Following the service, family and friends are invited to a reception at the church.
