René Rudolphe Cayen

 Cayen , René “Rudy” Rodolphe passed away peacefully at Carlingview Manor on Thursday, October 17 2024 with family by his side. He was 97 years old. Born to William and Eva in Temiscaming, Quebec on Monday, August 22, 1927. He survived all his siblings and he was the loving father of Alice, Andre, Peter, Theresa, Rene Jr. (Elizabeth), predeceased by Denise. He will be greatly missed by his many nieces, nephews, grand, great grand, and great great grand children. René loved living life and travelling through the city on buses. He always had a candy to share and a story to tell anyone who wanted to listen. Service details – Visitation will be held at Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Road (Richmond at Roosevelt) on Saturday, October 26th, from 11:00 am until the time of service in the Chapel at noon, with reception to follow.
