Valcin, Raymonde Marguerite (nee Jeanty)

Peacefully, on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at the age of 78. Beloved wife of the late Fritz Maurice Valcin. Loving mother of Maxime (Laura) and Pascal (Samantha).  Cherished grandmother of Jialyn, Tyson, Zoé, and Devon.  Dear sister of Solange, Nicole, and Carlo.  She will be missed by several nieces and nephews, especially by Carol “Cathy” (Goldy) and Nancy, and by their daughters.  She will be fondly remembered by her sisters and brothers-in-law Marie-Lourdes, Marlène, Ginette, Laurence, Raymond and the late Yvon and André.  Predeceased by her parents Albert Jeanty and Marie Jeanty (nee Agnant), and by her brothers Gerard, Ernst, Wiener “Body” and Martial.

Raymonde was known for her smiles and love of life.  Her joy was looking after others, especially her grandchildren.  Her family was her everything.

A memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, January 15th at 11 am at St-Rémi Roman Catholic Church, 2821 Dumaurier Ave., Ottawa.

Due to Covid restrictions in person attendance will be limited to immediate family only. Proof of vaccination and ID are mandatory to attend the service. For a  link to the ceremony please scroll below.
