McKeague – Pénélope

Pénélope McKeague passed away peacefully in her parents' arms on February 21 at the age of 5. In her young life, she touched and inspired all who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her loving parents, Kristine Gavrel McKeague and Adrian McKeague, and by her brothers, Mathéo, Seth and Félix. Predeceased by her adoring grandmother, Kate Bryant, she leaves behind great-grandmother Huguette Gavrel; grandparents Laurie and Theresa McKeague and Jean-Claude and Nicole Gavrel; aunts and uncles Paul, Anthony and Bec, and Jennifer and Jason; and cousins Callum, William, Laura, Abigail, Mikael, Rachel, Zack and Libby. The family is profoundly grateful to Jill and Vicky for the devoted care they gave Pénélope, and wishes to thank the wonderful staff of Roger's House for their selflessness, humanity and support. A celebration of Pénélope's life will be held at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road (between Baseline Rd. and Bayshore Dr.), Nepean on Thursday February 27 ^th 2014 at 3 p.m. All are encouraged to wear the shiny, bright colours that Pénélope loved.
