Phyllis Hewitt

Peacefully on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Garden Terrace in her 97th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband William (1995). Dear mother of William of Ottawa, James (Gail) of Almonte, Janet (George Allen) of Sioux Lookout and Jean (Maynard Hamilton) of Stittsville and predeceased by Judy, Cindi and Thomas. Lovingly remembered by seven grandchildren, Connie, Robert, Donna, Kevin, Sandra, Joan and David. Also survived by sixteen great-grand children and five great-great grandchildren. Predeceased by her brother Everett Hewitt and by two sisters Delta Johnson and Mickey James. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road, Nepean (between Bayshore and Baseline Road). Visitation on Saturday, January 25th from 11:00 a.m. until time of service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment Stittsville United Cemetery in the Spring. The family would like to thank the staff at Garden Terrace for their kind and compassionate care over the last 5 years.
