Peter (Jean-Pierre) Thibault

1947 - 2021

With family by his side, Peter passed away on August 31st, 2021 at the age of 74. Married for fifty years, he was the loving husband of Valerie, much loved father to Matthew, Dan (Jill) and grandfather to Jamie. He is survived by his brother Michel (Nicole), sister Suzanne (Albert) and fondly remembered by his sister-in-law Sheila and many nephews and nieces. He leaves behind other dear family members and a wide circle of friends.

He will be sadly missed by friends who supported him during his courageous battle with the effects of a debilitating stroke last year.

Peter was born in Ottawa and worked for the Federal government at Civil Aviation Tribunal for many years. He adored his precious dogs and had taken great pride in his gardening and landscaping of the family home.

As per his wishes, a private celebration of his life will be held at a future time. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Elizabeth Bruyere Hospital or the Heart Institute would be appreciated.
