On Thursday, February 20 ^th , 2014 at the Almonte General Hospital, ten minutes before quitting time, Peter David Clarke, age 67, peacefully took his quiet last breathes with Gregory and Lynda by his side. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Mildred, his infant son Peter David Jr, and his sister Madonna (Walter). Peter is survived, loved and respected by his son and daughter-in-law, Gregory and Lynda, whom he worked with every day, Father and Son. Much loved Grandpa of Robert, Amy and Christopher. Sorely missed by his baby-love Millie. Left to mourn and remember are his children Laurie (James), Thomas (Kayla) and Christina and their mother Loretta; and his grandchildren Luke and Lauren, Madison and Joshua. He will be missed by his siblings John (Eunice), Neil (Irma), Anne (Mike), Tom (Dolly) and always caring Theresa (the late Anthony). Loving godfather of Tom Dolan. Best friend of Peter Jones. Cared for by Jackie, Miss Kim, the staff of Queensway Carleton Hospital 4D and Almonte General Hospital – Rosamond. Friends may call at the Carp Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 115 Rivington Street, Carp on Monday, February 24, 2014 from 1-4p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Isidore Roman Catholic Church, 1135 March Road, Kanata on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at 11 am. Interment in the Spring. In lieu of flowers, we'd ask that if you smoke, consider stopping and if you want to honour Peter, we welcome donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
