Paul Lamont

October 21, 1948 — March 8, 2019

Garden Chapel

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. Paul passed away at home with his wife Anne (Ryan) by his side.  Known for his quick wit and sense of humour, Paul will lovingly be remembered by his son Chris (Wendy), his daughter Julie Blair (Tom) and his five grandchildren, Jaimee (Marc), Hailey, Regan, Kealy and Carter.  Paul was predeceased by his parents Dan and Mary Lamont and his parents-in-law Dominic and Rita Ryan. He will be missed by his brothers John (Mary), David, Robert (Debra), sister Mary Anne (Dwight, deceased) and sister-in-law Kim Lamont, the entire Ryan family as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.  Paul's pride and joy were his family; he was so proud of and doted on his five beautiful grandchildren. As well he truly enjoyed the many dinner parties and travel adventures with friends.  Special thanks to Dr. Howard Cohen, Dr. Elizabeth Cain and nurse Christine McTavish for their excellent care. A celebration of Paul's life will take place at St. Patrick's Church, 15 Steeple Hill Crescent, Fallowfield on Saturday, March 30th at 11:00am. Reception to follow in the Parish Hall. Donations may be made to Planting Seeds Int'l Memorial Fund or to a charity of your choice.
