Joynt, Muriel Teresa
It is with deep sadness that the family of Muriel Teresa Joynt announces her passing on Thursday, September 2, 2021. She is survived by her four children; Patrick (Connie), Stephen (Shao-Mei), Lynda(Richard), Kevin(Kim), nine grandchildren, Meileen, Sharleen, Andrea, Sarah, Jennifer, Rebecca, Audrey, Patrick, Olivia and eight great grandchildren. She was predeceased by the man of her life, John Patrick Joynt. They were married and in deep love for an incredible seventy years.
Mom will be remembered for her love of family, friends and faith. She lived her life as she wished, staying in her home until just a few days before her passing. She was surrounded by those she loved until the very end.
Despite her advanced age mom was as sharp as anyone. She enjoyed her music, (she was a self-taught accomplished pianist), painting, a good laugh, a good party, and a good discussion. (argument, lol!) Often, she would hold court in her kitchen discussing the news of the day while trying hard to feed whomever was present.
It is incalculable how much Muriel will be missed. Her home was our home as she always welcomed with a smile, whomever appeared at her door. I ask that you remember mom in your thoughts and prayers. John14:1-3
