Mohan Bakshi

Breathed his last breath on October 2, 2013 at age 78. Mohan was born in Rajouri, India, and educated at Delhi College and the University of Toronto. He married the late Subhadra Bakshi in New Delhi, India on October 22, 1960 and they came to Saskatchewan soon after to provide a better life for their family. He grew to love Saskatchewan, and enjoyed all aspects of Prairie life including curling, driving a pick-up, shovelling snow, gardening, and drinking coffee at the co-op. He made friendships that lasted a lifetime. Mohan was an educator who loved books, English literature and writing. He will be deeply missed by his three children Neil (Ruth), Sanjay (Valerie) and Anu (Sunil), and remembered by his grandchildren Theo, Rohin, Jaya, Milo, Dev and Norah.
