Michael Ketchum

Mike passed away peacefully with loved ones by his side after a courageous battle against pancreatic cancer.  

Mike was a devoted husband to Margaret (Blagg) and an active and loving father to his children Libby, Caleb and Jessica. He will be reunited with his dear son Vincent and little baby Emily as well as his father Ted Ketchum and will meet his in-laws Elizabeth (Kirby) and Michael Blagg. He will be deeply missed by his mother Primrose (Phil), his step mother Liz, his three brothers: David (Alice), Chris (Cory) and Stephen (Amanda), his sister-in-law Sarah (Mark), and all of his wonderful nieces and nephews: Jeff (Alyssa), Tom (Tatiana), Jessica (Daniel), Anna, Katie, Sophia, Claire and Tara as well as his great niece Anastasia.  

Mike will be remembered for his calm manner, his smile, his joy of singing and his love for Georgian Bay cottage life. 

A visitation will be held on Friday November 10th, 6:30-8:30 at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes on the lower level, 3440 Richmond Road Ottawa (between Bayshore and Baseline Road), followed by a funeral service on Saturday November 11th, 1 p.m. , at Christ Church Bells Corners, 3861 Old Richmond Rd, Nepean.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated so that in future there may be less suffering and loss.
