Peacefully at Granite Ridge, Stittsville, Ontario on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 in his 89th year. Predeceased by his beloved wife Margaret Mary (nee Nunn) and son Phillip Beck. Cherished father of Melanie Blanchard (Richard), of Carp, ON, Beverley Tschirhart (Albert) of Guelph, ON, Robert Beck (Anne) of Carp, ON and Donna Thompson (Frank) of Midland, ON. Loved grandfather of Eric, Christopher, Victoria, Peter, Christine, Jamie, Taylor, Julia and Emily and great-grandfather of Dustin, Evelyn and Michael. Dear brother of Marion Irving (Frank) and Sheila Fraser (the late William), of Halifax, and Donald Beck (Cathy), Wilmot Station, NS. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. John Chrysostom Catholic Church, 301 Albert St., Arnprior on Friday, November 29th at 11:00 am. Followed by interment at the Malloch Road Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer society would be appreciated.
