With broken hearts we announce the passing of Maureen on March 6th, 2024, at the age of 80. Predeceased by her 1st husband of 40+ years, Wayne Nesbitt as well as her 2nd husband, Gary West and her loving son John Nesbitt. Maureen will be lovingly remembered by her son Steve (Sue) and daughter Cheryl (Jason) Bourgeau. Forever remembered by her grandchildren Brad (Vicky), Diana (Loli), Sarah and Chris. Sister to Bev, Judy, Jerry and Laurie. Great Grandmother to Lita and Grayson.
We would like to thank the emergency staff at the Ottawa Hospital-Civic Campus for their care in her last hours and we, the whole family, express our heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Stillwater Creek Retirement Home, for their kind and loving care. Special thank you to nurse Karen for her compassion and patience.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road on Saturday, March 9, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. followed by a funeral service in the chapel at 1 p.m.
