Mary Rivers

Peacefully, with her daughters by her side, Mary passed away on October 22, 2013 at the age of 82. Mary was predeceased by her husband of 39 years, Ronald. She will be greatly missed by her daughters, Jennifer Jarvis (Greg), Stephanie, and Ellen Rivers Cotter (Brent). Mary was the loving grandmother of Stuart, Andrew and Elizabeth (Oliver), Matthew, Thomas (deceased), Hilary and Graeme, and Tori and Riley. Great-grandmother of Charlotte. She will also be missed by her brother-in-law David (Valerie) and her nieces and nephews. Mary was born in Ottawa to the late Myrtle (Brown) and Borden Conley. She was a long-time employee of the Royal Bank of Canada. Friends may attend a visitation at 10:00 am on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at Tubman Funeral Homes, Garden Chapel, 3440 Richmond Road. A service to celebrate Mary's life will follow at 11:00 am. Mary's family would like to thank the staff of Peter D Clark for their care and compassion during her final years. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
