Mary Evelyn Brown

In loving memory Mary Evelyn Brown died on the morning of February 15th 2024 peacefully at the Ottawa civic hospital. Born March 28th 1935. Daughter of Mr and Mrs James Watson of Ottawa Ontario. Wife of the late Robert Lawrence Brown and Mother of deceased son Andrew Melvin Brown. Long time resident of Arlington Woods. Evelyn Brown was a strong supporter of animal rights and animal charities. Evelyn Brown will be remembered for her long and extensive career in the Canadian Federal government working in the department of Agriculture and at the House of Commons Committee meetings. Evelyn Brown received a bachelor's degree from Carlton University in Women's Studies. Survived by her two sons Robert and Jeffrey and Grandchildren Jessie, Maggie and James. Evelyn Brown will be kindly remembered and missed by family and friends.
