At the May Court Hospice on Saturday, March 14, 2015 following a battle with cancer, fought with determination and courage. Beloved wife, for 59 years, to Alex. Proud mother of Kathryn. Daughter of the late Jessie (Gamble) and Donald Dunlop. Dear sister of Charles. She will also be missed by cousins Ruth Sykes, Margo Pyper, extended family, friends, and former colleagues. Marion’s entire teaching career was with OBE, until her retirement in 1994 from Broadview Public School. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road, Nepean (between Bayshore Dr. and Baseline Rd.) on Tuesday, March 17th from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held at Rideau Park United Church, 2203 Alta Vista Drive (at the corner of Cunningham Ave.), on Wednesday, March 18th at 11:00 am, with reception to follow. Interment, Johnston’s Corners Cemetery in the spring. For those wishing, a donation in memory of Marion to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation or Hospice Care Ottawa (May Court) would be appreciated.
