Louise René de Cotret 

April 24, 1955 – October 15, 2024 

Predeceased by her loving parents Gerard René de Cotret and Mary René de Cotret (Maloney). Survived by devoted husband Rob Giles and sisters Gert (Bob Cooper), Anne-Marie (Peter (Tom) Sawyer), and brothers Michel (Em Stortroer), Marcel (Barb Barkley), and Paul as well as 14 nieces and nephews and great aunt to 13. 

After a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer’s, Louise succumbed peacefully in her sleep. Many thanks to all the wonderful caring staff at Granite Ridge Care Community for taking such good care of Louise. 

A Memorial reception will be held at  Tubman Funeral Homes-Westboro Chapel (403 Richmond Road, Ottawa, ON) on November 2, 2024, from 11a.m. to 1p.m.
