Muir, Marianne Louise (nee Boyd)

Marianne was born on May 27, 1928 and died peacefully on Tuesday June 3 2014, just 1 week after her 86th birthday. Beloved wife of Dalton (deceased), with whom she shared a great love for Canada's many and diverse natural wonders. Cherished daughter of F. Arthur W. and Mary G. Boyd (nee Bompas), loving sister to Donald (deceased), Frances (Dalziel), and Jean (deceased) and sister-in-law of Walter(deceased) and Mary Anderson (nee Muir). Dearly loved mother of Richard and his wife Marianne and Roderick and his wife Hél&egravene and dear aunt to her many nieces and nephews. Marianne was a long time member of St. Stephens Anglican Church in Ottawa and for many years was active in the choir and other church groups. Marianne will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her. Visitation will be held at the Garden Chapel of the Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road, Nepean (between Bayshore Dr. and Baseline Rd) on Saturday, June 7, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. A Memorial service will be held in the Chapel at 3:00 p.m. followed by light refreshments. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Marianne's memory to the Alzeimer Society would be greatly appreciated.
