Stevens, Maria “Riet”

In hospital, on Sunday, August 15, 2021, in her 89th year, with her husband by her side, Maria went to her eternal home.

Beloved wife of Peter Stevens; dear mother of Peter (Karen), Anita Lapensee (Lionel), Garry, and John (Tracy); loving grandmother of Jessica (Caesar) and Corey (Stephanie); and great-grandmother of Aaliyah and Savannah; Maria will be remembered lovingly by family members and friends here in Canada and in the Netherlands.

Your presence we miss, your memory we treasure, loving you always.

Maria was a devout Catholic who loved the Lord, Church, her family and community.  Funeral Mass will be held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 2546 Stagecoach Rd., Osgoode, on Wednesday, August 18 at 10:30 a.m., followed by interment at Parish Cemetery.  Due to Covid restrictions, please register for service by scrolling below.
