Margo Apedaile

September 10, 1938 — April 2, 2023

Apedaile - Margo Vaughan

Peacefully in hospital on Monday, April 2, 2023, in her 85th year. Survived by her brother Pryce Apedaile (Mari-Lyn); and nieces Heidi Byrd (David) and Tori Joustra (Geoffrey) and grand niece and nephew Sarah Byrd and Isaac Byrd.  Predeceased by her parents Victor and Evelyn Apedaile. Fondly remembered by dear extended family member Terri Cote and devoted friend Kathleen Green.

Special thanks to Dr. Pricilla Bright who continually goes above and beyond for her patients.

Margo lived life to the fullest. She loved spending time with her friends, being active. Skiing, tennis, golf, travel and bridge were just a few of those activities, but the one closest to her heart was time spent on her sailboat. Her career in Social Work was one based on love for people. Her heart was always to understand people more and be part of making everyone around her feel heard, understood and loved. Auntie Margo was a blessing to all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed.

Friends may attend a visitation at the Kars Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 1610 Roger Stevens Dr., Kars on Tuesday from 2 to 4 pm.
