Margaret "Marg" Walker

Passed away unexpectedly in hospital on Sunday, December 11, 2022. Beloved wife of 50 plus years to Robert “Bob” Walker. Cherished mother of Robert (Rob) and James (Laramie Morrison). Proud grandmother of Sarah, West and Reed. Loving sister of the late Don Turnbull (Karen), the late Glenn Turnbull (Carolyn), Jim Turnbull (Margit) and Mary Dillon (David). Marg will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.

The family wishes to thank the medical staff at the Ottawa Heart Institute and her church family for their compassionate care and support.

Visitation will be held at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Rd, Nepean (between Bayshore and Baseline Road) on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 from 2-4 p.m. Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at 11 a.m. at St. Paul’s United Church in Richmond, ON; reception to follow. For those unable to attend the service in person, a live stream and recording option will be available at www.tubmanfuneralhomes.com. Interment will take place in the parish cemetery in Spring of 2023. In lieu of flowers, for those wishing, donations may be made to St. Paul’s United Church in Richmond, ON or to the Ottawa Heart Institute.
