On Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at the age of 85 years.  Beloved wife of the late Richard Mayne Meyer.  Loving mother of Pamela (Henry Benckhuysen), Deborah (Gino Landry), and Jon (Kathy).  Devoted Nana of Sarah Landry.  Dear sister of Irene Price (Michael).  She is survived by her nephews Hugh, Richard, and Ralph.  She’ll be remembered by her brother-in-law Jon Roger Meyer, sister-in-law Melinda Meyer (John Kell) and their children Hilary, Daniel, and Zola, and by sister-in-law Susan Meyer.  Margaret was a member of Christ Church Bells Corners and active in the ACW.  She was an avid gardener who volunteered at Pinecrest Community Garden and Christ Church Bells Corners Garden.  She was the treasurer of the Ottawa Valley Rock Garden Society.  She was a dedicated volunteer at Pinecrest Terrace Community House Food Bank, and many other organizations.  A special thanks to the Ottawa Civic Hospital ICU Team.  Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Rd., Nepean, on Saturday, January 25th from 2-4 pm.  In memory of Margaret, please consider a donation to the Pinecrest Terrace Community House, 2483B Iris St., Ottawa, ON, K2C 1C7.  Tributes, condolences and donations may be made at www.tubmanfuneralhomes.com
