Cheeseman, Margaret Anne

It is with saddened hearts that the family of Margaret Anne Cheeseman announce her passing on August 7 ^th , 2015 at the age of 78. Marg is survived by the family she so loved; her brother George (June) Cheeseman of Edmonton, AB. Her nephews; Jim (Terri) Cheeseman, Rick (Sue) Cheeseman, David (Denise) Cheeseman, nieces; Sandra Cheeseman, Laura (Peter) Cheeseman-Frigon, her great-nephews; Jeremy (Robin) Cheeseman, Mischa Cheeseman, Robert (Caitlin) Frigon, Adam Cheeseman, her great-nieces; Kelly Cullen, Kerri Ansems, Jenna Cheeseman, as well as many close family and long-time friends. Marg was predeceased by her parents Sidney and Myrtle Cheeseman, brother Roy and sister-in-law Mary Alice Cheeseman. Margaret was an energetic woman who enjoyed aquatic sports, softball and aboriginal art and was an ardent fan of the Ottawa Rough Riders of old. Practically all of her education was in Ottawa, she graduated from Ottawa Business College. Her working career began at Hydro Electric Power Commission in Merivale and other Ontario centres. Her sense of adventure led her to Vancouver where she spent time with Trans Mountain Pipelines before settling back in Ottawa in executive administrative positions with the Federal Civil Service until her retirement. She loved to travel and enjoyed many concerts and shows with friends and relatives. At Marg's request cremation has taken place, an Interment service will follow in the family plot in Marmora, Ontario. The funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Tubman Funeral Homes - Nepean Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations be made in the name of Margaret Cheeseman to the Canadian Cancer Society or The Lung Association.
