Lucille Yvette Jefferson

May 4, 1930 - November 16, 2022

Deeply missed by her children and step-children Linda (Norman), Gerry (Carol), Sue, Greg, Sara (Bill), Matt, and Phil. Much loved by grandchildren Gweth, Rehema, Colin (Caitlin) and Danny and great-grandchildren Quentin and Riley. Predeceased by her husband Ken Jefferson, her parents René and Yvette Parent, sons Mike and Marc, daughters-in-law Michelle and Heidi and former husband John Bennett.

She spent her childhood in Ste-Agathe-des-Monts, Quebec, and later on lived in an array of places, including Montreal, Quebec; Edmonton, Alberta; Atlanta, Georgia; Phoenix, Arizona; North Hero, Vermont; and Ottawa. Lucille will be remembered for her love of family, her gentle soul, her open spirit and her sense of humour. She loved listening to music, reading, doing crossword puzzles and was a surprisingly powerful ping pong player. She was welcoming to all and her house was the one everyone gravitated to.

A huge thank you to Carlingwood Retirement Community and Peter D Clark Long Term Care Home for their support and wonderful care. Thank you to the caregiving teams from Self Sufficient Seniors and Home Instead for their kindness and compassion.

A private family gathering will be held.

Il y a longtemps que je t'aime, Jamais je ne t'oublierai.
