Lorraine was born in Springwater, Saskatchewan on June 10, 1923 where she grew up and married. Resident of Stittsville for over 50 years. Passed away in hospital on October 2, 2017 with her family by her side. Predeceased by her loving husband Bruce of 71 years. Survived by her daughter Heather (Cliff) Connerty; her son Kent (Jane) Martin; and her daughter Bonnie (Jim) Bell. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren: Shelley Keating (Fred Odendahl), Ryan Connerty; Jana Martin (Kristian Dussault), Jonathan and Blake Martin; Aleisha (Dan) Villeneuve, Ashley (Rob) Stead, Jamie (Jodi) Bell, Aaron (Jay) Acres. Precious great-grandmother to Jade, Ruby, Braden and Ronan Odendahl; Liam Dussault; Jérémy, Beaujolais, Jakohby and Delphine Villeneuve; Schuyler, Charlie, Lawson and Courtney Stead; Paisley Bell; Tucker, Wyatt and Lily Acres. Predeceased by her father Christopher and Nellie Mae Fisher; her brothers Ted, Roy, Merv and Lorne, and her sisters Winnie and Iris. Survived by her brother Rod in Kamloops. Friends may visit at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road, Nepean on Monday, October 9, 2017 from 11 a.m. until time of the Memorial Service in the Chapel at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Autism Society, CNIB or the Alzheimer`s Society would be appreciated.
