Lois Cook

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother Lois Cook on June 26, 2024 at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Gerald Cook. Loving mother of Wayne (Darlene) Ottawa, ON and Ross (Sharon) Kelowna, BC. Wonderful grandmother to Lindsay (Carl), Hailey, Mitch and Abby and a great grandmother (GG) to Lawson.

She is survived by her brother Bruce of Woodlawn, ON and predeceased by her parents Lloyd and Vera Graham and brothers Barry, Emerson and Ronnie. Lois was a kind, generous, loving and beautiful person who will be terribly missed by everyone.

Special thanks to all the staff at Stonehaven Manor who ensured Mom was kept comfortable and safe during her stay there.

A visitation will be held at the Tubman Funeral Home, 3440 Richmond Road, Ottawa on Wednesday, July 10th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm followed by a funeral service on Thursday, July 11th at 11 am. Reception to follow after the service. Interment to follow after the reception at Merivale Public Cemetery, 1882 Merivale Road, Ottawa.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the “Alzheimer’s Society.”
