In her 99 th year, Lois Boston, also fondly referred to as Nana and Mrs. B, passed away peacefully at home. Pre-deceased by her parents, William and Gertrude Sharp. Beloved wife of the late Robert Boston and loving mother to the late Lynda Cochrane (Gord) and the late Brian Boston (Reina). Loving sister to Sandra and predeceased by Charles, Margaret, Eleanor and Olga. She will be lovingly remembered and missed by her grandchildren Brenda (Tom), Kathy (Brian), Heather (Johnny), Steve (Melissa), Scott (Christa) and Kevin (deceased), and by her great grandchildren, Noah, Rebecca, Brian, Tyler, Megan, Sofia, Isabella, Grant and Sarah, and by many extended family and friends. Lois always had a positive outlook on life. She loved people and with her wonderful sense of humour, Lois brought smiles to all those around her. We will always remember one of her favourite expressions, "Enjoy the good days when we get them", and will try to live up to these words. We would like to thank the nurses, personal support workers and other staff at Valley Stream Manor. They provided Lois with outstanding care and truly treated her like family. Funeral service will be held at St. Matthews Anglican Church in the Glebe, 217 First Ave. (at Bank Street), on Thursday, September 27, 2018, at 11:00am. A small reception will follow, then the internment at Capital Memorial Gardens, 3700 Prince of Wales Drive. In lieu of flowers, donations to Cornerstone Housing for Women, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
